Creative Writers

To all creative writers and literary fiends, U of O's writers' circle is about to start back up in a couple weeks. Stay tuned for details or email Collin (lit.uesa@artsuottawa.ca) for more details.

This year, the UESA is starting their first-ever very own literary reading series. It will be taking place the third Monday of every month during the school year in the basement of the Royal Oak on Laurier (across from the street from campus). It starts at 8:30pm and will go until around 11pm. There will open mic sessions where readers can sign up at the door to read their work, and there may also be featured student readers who have recently put out chapbooks or published other material.

Don't forget to join the literary Facebook group (uottawa literary) for continuing up-to-date information about the literary and creative writing scene at U of O.
